CD 'Exchange'

Do any of you guys still jam on a dedicated stereo? Not a surround sound setup running in stereo mode...Im mean the real deal. 2 big ass speakers, an amp, and a source.

Yes I have a older sony receiver and 2 large older b/o speakers in the garage

Plus I have a Heathkit tuner and tube receiver with 2 ar3 speakers in the basement. now thats the real deal!!
 
Demonoid is awesome... have built up my collection very nicely with VBR v0 quality mp3's... slowly going through and replacing every single one of mine...
 
I used to have an OiNK account about 2 years ago, that was the best music site. If you dont have an invite code to a site you want to join, theres usually IRC channels out there put up by site admins to "recruit" you and get you an invite.

Yeah, I run a old Harman Kardon setup I got from my dad that he had back in the day. Its the shit. I just got back from a trip to TN to see my cousin graduate from the Fire Academy and my aunt was telling me how dad was blasting that shit back in the day and she always wanted to play her records on it, but he kept the door to his room locked!

That old HK stuff was damn good. If you have an iPod you could get a line-out dock for ~$20 and run it to the AUX-IN on your receiver. Im running some old Adcom gear myself.
