carfax on a Vette porfavor?

I spoke to the guy for a good half hr and never mentioned any accident.. when I told him to send me a pic of the VIN number I could hear a sigh in his voice

How does someone entertain a buyer for a half hour without disclosing a significant accident that's going to show up on Carfax and/or give the car a salvage title? People are scumbags.

I'm telling you a half hour on how awesome the car is, drives straight as an arrow, a/c garage kept... not one mention on the accedent. ..
Now I'm curious on what a carfax would say
 
How soon are you looking to pick something up? I have a 1999 C5 vert I might be selling in the near future, but mine has a clean Carfax and service history. Mine would also be higher than $14,800 too though.

Yeah, post #23 in the link I posted has photos. I was hit by a semi, pushed across 3 lanes and up a curb. It went to auction, sold for more than I thought it would then was reassembled and misrepresented by the seller.
