X2! Exspecially with the title being "Can your Mustang do this?". Maybe with a title stating "Turbo Civic Freeway Run" or something it would have been better....idk.. The title he has just seems like he is coming off very very cocky!
 
My stock 94 Camaro did 165.

My 86 Turboed CRX did 160 at only 12psi.

not impressed.

My 7000lb F250 will do 143 on the gps before it runs outa gear if i shut the speed limiter off, I bet it gains speed faster than that honda from 55 when the convertor locks up to well over 100




OH and its a diesel....
 
had mine at im guessing around 160(speedo only goes to 150) that was at 4800rpm I wonder what rpm he was at at 170

Because, unfortunately, there are people out there that see something along the lines of a poorly skilled driver running a high-13 in an LS1 and assume that one data point is sufficient enough to make a general assumption like that. Then, because one person said it on the internet, it becomes "truth" - a truth that spreads like wild fire on a site like Xceed. :shake:

so when they say they " hung with one" it seems like their car would be super fast, or if they lose to one, they still seem fast. i seriously just cant understand building an import. maybe if it was really fast, but something to run around town in or go street racing, nope not a chance. i raced a civic with a fart can and a with with a neon green dash and large wing on merriman by the airport last week with my stock truck. and drug him. its a 2002 gmc serria for christ sake, it might go 17's in the 1/4! why? why would you want to drive something with mismatched colored ground effects, a sticker in the back window that says "under construction" and a fart can that doesnt really add anything to your car?


edit, and why the fuck would you paint your entire dash neon green?
