thnkin about putting in a set of cams in my 99 gt is it worth the time and money for the 20 hp what do you think?

nothing to big i dont wanna have to change out springs, i was looking to put nox ,headers, gear, and maybe the cams this summer. down the road im thinkin of a kenne bell. been talkin with lidio here and there about the cams and he never gave me much info on them other then the price out the door.
just wanted to see what peoples thoughts were,if they are really worth it or not.

don't waste your money, spend $2500 on cams or $2500 on a bolt on S-trim......hmmmmm

You are getting raped if you spend anywhere near $2500 for cams. Even custom grinds for a 4 valve are no where near $2500.

the purchase of cams plus install, set of cams cost near 1k and labor is not far from that....but hey what do I know your the modular/terminator/anything Ford know it all?

if you wanna go NA, the trickflow top end kits make some decent power. Better off with a low boost blower/turbo though if you want some easy HP.

the trickflow heads, intake and cams do make some good power but the small CI still hampers power in a low rpm cruise/street motor.

Labor (and a tune) are irrelevant since they are required for both (if you choose to pay for the install). For brand new parts, cams cost $650+/- and springs are $200+/- while a Vortech kit will cost you $2500+/-.

LOL at your second comment, not sure why you went off on that tangent, maybe you are upset that someone questioned you. As for me, I surely do not think I am a know it all, quite the opposite, there is tons I still need to learn.
