Not if the dealers try charging $5k over sticker like some will. It seems like the Camaro has already been out for 2 years with all the press it's had since Transformers. I hope it's a win for GM and not too little too late...

Quite a few dealers are selling them with no markup, over 10K orders already.
 
there should never be a car sold for over sticker... what is wrong with people... that price is a huge markup from the manufacterer in the first place and also what they say its worth... how can a dealer says its more... i bought a new truck in 04 for 10k under the sticker... anyone who pays over sticker for something is stupid with their money... these are some of the major problems with the economy today... people are fucking greedy

Where have you been? This always goes on when a new/hot model hits showrooms. Ford/GM/Chrysler, you name it. It's been going on for decades. People have two choices, to pay the markup - sometimes the cost of wanting to be the first on the block, or shop elsewhere. It's pretty simple.
 
I'm excited to see these on the street and once all the bugs are worked out.

I may add one to the collection.
 
I was at the EPA in ann arbor yesterday and they have a yellow 5th gen sitting out back with snow all over it. I drove up to get a closer look and people started coming outside to see what i was doing to a back up and left. But that was my first 5th gen look up close, and i like them alot more in person.
 
i was at the plant last week,it was like a ghost town,i took a couple machines in there,the line was at a standstill,its no quite ready yet

You were on the Impala side, there are 4 lines at Oshawa- just FYI these pics were takin in Sept. I wish I could say more but I'm not gonna risk my job

But I can say that there will be a sick ass Green color coming out shortly, that I helped develope ;)

Saw a yellow SS parked at a mall few weeks ago and I oogled for a few minutes. Nice! We had a base model V6 dropped off for some reference a couple weeks ago and it looked good too. That seems like a good litmus test.

Still, my next car will be a Mustang. :cheers: I hope to see a drag strip rivalry renewed.
