cam and lifter help please

i have a 302 roller i have the trickflow tfs-51402001 cam .542 intake and.563 exausht lift i have proform 1/6 ratio rockers no matter how i lash the valves im getting a clicking noise i have brand new melling factory roller lifters i cant figure out the noise i think its the lifters any help would be great thanks

Maybe you have a header leak?

i believe on a stock 302 short block that cam is right on the edge of having the valves hit the pistons

what springs do you have? how many lbs on the seat? and whats the install height? if your springs are too weak for the cam you can have that problem

also if you have a slightly bent valve the spring could be binding up... dave and I had that happen once... lol
