Calling All Travelers.. Honeymoon Suggestions

Looking for suggestions for a honeymoon destination. This has by far been the hardest part of wedding planning, there are too many places we want to go!
We will be going for anywhere between 10-13 days in the middle of August. The bonus is, thanks to my future sister-in-law, we get free first class tickets to anywhere United Airlines flies (her dad works for United). I think we have ruled out the Caribbean completely, it's too easy to get to, and we could go there for any quick vacation.
We have talked about doing a week long European cruise, and then staying on one of Spain's islands (like Ibiza or something) for like 3-4 days. But with all the crazy stuff going on with the Syrian refugees and all the attacks, I don't know if I want to go there. And I don't want to be rushed and only have like 6 hours in each city.
We have also talked about going to like Bora Bora/Fiji/Tahiti/Moorea area for a 7-9 days then flying back and doing Northern California for like 4 days (Napa, Yosemite, San Fran, etc). Hawaii is on the list, but the fiance lived in Hawaii for 5 weeks before so I don't really want to go somewhere he has been.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

Aruba. Best vacation ever. We went in 2003. No hurricanes to worry about and the weather is perfect year round. It's pricey but worth it.

Aruba is out, his sister just went there for their honeymoon and we would rather save that for a different trip.

I have traveled near and far and I can definitively say that the best destination is without a doubt.... Wally World. Just make sure they aren't down for maintenance before you go.

Just curious about this. We don't get free first class tickets, only space available.

Hawaii for sure. We did a week in Maui and four days in Waikiki. I'd go back to Maui in a heartbeat. We stayed in the Kihei/Makena area.

We just honeymooned in Maui in September. Absolute time of our lives. What island did your fiancé live on? Every island is slightly different. Stay away from the Big Island or Oahu. We absolutely loved Maui.

Personally, Vegas - but we do Vegas a few times a year. I love Vegas, the sun/heat, the atmosphere, the cars, the SHOPPING. A fun trip is to fly to Vegas stay a couple days, rent a 911 or a lambo etc. and drive to souhtern california, beautiful driving to california (some nice beaches with decent privacy). Acapulco, Mexico is REALLY REALLY nice too, plus your money goes alot further in mexico. If money is no option, Europe - but you need ample time (2-3 weeks) to enjoy it. If you can swing it first class is the way to go, sleep in pods.

Best advice I can give is fly immediately after the wedding, we were on a plane the morning after the reception - boogied out with a quickness.

all the best!

Vegas is out, we currently live in AZ and only a few hours from Vegas so we are used to the weather and scenery. His best friend lives in San Diego right now too, so by the time the wedding comes, we will have already been to Southern California a few times. I dream of going to Europe but for my honeymoon I would like at least a few days to just be lazy on a beach.
We plan on leaving the day after the wedding (Sunday) or Monday

Stay away from the Big Island

:wtf: Big island is fantastic. Black, green, brown/tan, white sand beaches, Mauna Kea & star gazing, Volcanoes N.P, low population density....

Back on topic.... I'd go for a once-in-a-lifetime (aka, I'd never pay the cost). Seychelles, Kenya, Tanzania, Cape Town, South Africa (great white shark dives!). A few days in Portugal, then to Goa, India + a day trip to Taj Mahal. Since it's a honeymoon, an itinerary with stops at Sioux City, IA and Fukuoka, Japan airport would be fun for the baggage tags.
