Cage question

How many feet in a 10 point chrome molly cage. I know this will vary between builders. But just give me a ball park.

i bought 22 feet for the build im doing now, and thats enough to cover the door bars, back bars. back bar extensions and itll leave me with but a few feet. this doesnt include the main hoop

i paid 50 bux for 21 feet of sched. 40 its 1 3/4 tube with .140 wall thickness. mild steel
 
The car has mild steel 8 point now.. I want CM cage "IF" I add any more to it. :) I'm just tossing the idea around right now.;) It will all depend on how work go's and how the money flow is. I know I can get a great deal on the material.

you'll need some 1 1/4 x .065 for the cross bar of the main hoop, and to tie in the rear control arm mounts, 12 feet should do.

keep in mind these are general amounts for a "basic" 10 point per nhra minimum specs. if you add an under dash bar,x-door bars,rear x bars, among other things, amounts may need to be adjusted.
