Caffeine Withdrawals

i tried and failed a couple times to quit drinking pop. pretty bad headaches for a couple days but it goes away.

Why is it that I cannot find how much sugar is in beer? I want to know how much is in your most common beer such as Bud Light, Budwesier etc.

I found out there is 22g of sugar in Woodchuch Raspberry beer, but that is only because it as nutrition facts on the bottle.

I drink a good amount of pop and get caffeine headaches if I don't have one within a coupe hours of waking up. I drink between 1 and 2 12 packs a week. I'm really trying to cut down on it though. I'd like to go a whole day without having a pop and not get a headache, my teeth will thank me for it.

Most light beers are actually pretty low in sugar.

Compare that to a mixed drink or something like a Smirnoff Ice

Mountain Dew does have more caffeine and sugar....but really, at that point does it matter? LOL Its not a huge difference....so consuming a lot of any pop is gonna be bad.

I only drink water and sometimes have a pop on the weekend, maybe weekdays if the office gets some with a pizza order.

Pop is so insanely terrible for your health and body fat.

I don't think I've ever had a caffeine withdrawal. Never tried coffee before and I rarely drink pop (diet pop when I do).

Excedrin Migrane helps some and it has a little caffeine. I got cases of free monster and felt some pain when I stopped drinking them after having 1-2 a day for a couple months.

I am quitting because it is unhealthy and not good for me. I typically have one redbull a day (right when I go into work) and maybe 2 pops a shift. I work midnights and everyone at work is telling me I can't do it, that you need caffeine to keep going lol. I can't ween myself off of it either, if I don't give up cold turkey, I'll just keep on drinking pop and coffee. I took some aspirin last night at work and it didn't touch the headache. I guess I am just going to be a grumpy co-worker for a few days

The woman had some Asprin. Didn't work for me. Ibprophen always works for me.

Drinking a nice fresh cup of some sort of Brazilian Java right now. Sales guy brought some back from Brazil for the office! It is Deeeelish!

Migraines are common with caffeine withdrawal. Extra strength Excedrin has a dose of caffeine in it, but its usally not enough. Imitrex is a drug derived from LSD that will knock out a migraine, but you have to take it at the first sing of a migraine. They sell a generic brand that's a nasal spray too. Prescription only.
Why did you discontinue drinking coffee?
Good luck.

I drink probably 4-5 cans of pop and 2-3 bottles a day. Can't gain a pound. I do try to drink a bottle of two or water a day too though.

Try stepping down to Sprite, something thats still like drinking pop. Flavored water helps keep me from drinking pop too.

Most "pop drinkers" drink 3-4 a day. And that's just at work.

I drink probably 2-3 20oz at work a shift

I've tried a bunch of times too! I just really like the way pop tastes!

A lot of people I work with say the same thing. I drink so much pop I don't really thing the caffine even has any effect on keeping me awake.

I like the flavored water too. It still doesn't compare to pop though  I love my diet dr. pepper!

I drink diet so no calories, no sugar  I think if I am at home and not work I probably drink a 2 liter a day!
