C4 shifter for mustang

Looking for a clean shifter for my 93 mustang. I was hoping for a pistol grip or hammer shifter. I think the hammer that is made for mustangs looks the best but the pistol grip probably works the best. Either way I need something because the trans is going in this weekend. Let me know what you got.
 
Did FMC ever make a 93 Cobra with a Auto???

I have a turbo action cheetah shifter. Its black and I really like it.

I like that shifter but I would have to mod my center console to much. I had a old winters shifter (very similar) in an 86. I was looking for something I can completely conceal. The pistol grip is pushing it but I think I can hide it with a boot.

I put that shifter in my 88 and i only had to put a little notch in it.

I never had one worth a sh!t but i see your handy work in matt's car. If you have one or know of one that can be modified I would give it a try. Is it a solid feel with the modified detents or do i see myself missing second?

I'll probably change the pedals after I drive the car a little. I don't wanna be upside down reaching bolts if I don't have to.

I just used the stock AOD cable with mine. You using a reverse pattern valve body? If so you just need to grind out the gate between OD and Drive. Start out in OD pull back for second, push button and pull for third.

Sounds good Rick but I don't think I will get a cable with the shifter. I also don't have a shift lever on the trans. Is there a kit I can buy?

Your the one that put the idea in my head. Except that transbrake button...thats what the horn button is for..

U do have a 87-89 one...the 90-93's are diff... Plus, U have the '99 handle wiff da OD button(IE Trans brake).
