buying a 95 camaro what should i look out for

yea dont buy it there a pain in the ass to work on . and being a 95 . YOU will have to work on it .

^Yes, the list is too long, lol. Main things to watch for are coolant leaks, rust in the rear quarters, inoperative window motors, intake leaks, etc............they aren't the best car around, not horrible though, just horrible to work on. Do yourself a favour, pop the hood and take a GOOD look at the engine, then ask yourself, do I WANT to work on this?

ive seen em and crawling under the windshield to take out a plug dosent sound like a good time i saw another thread asking pretty much this same question and general opinion was to hold out for a ls1

i had a 94 z . pain in the ass when i bought my 85 stang i shed a tear when it only took me 15 min to change plugs

i just bought a 95 with hooker headers ..changin plugs aint that bad ...geez ...it also has a D1SC procharger on it ...the opti was dead ...took me about 2 hours to pull the opti ...and about 2 hours to reinstall ...and the blower added at least an hour to the total...having never been into one I dont think its too bad at all to work on...cept it so damn low to the ground ..its a little hard on the back ...it helps to have a good set of tools ...if a 6" craftsman extension and a 5/8 plug socket is all you got ...youre gonna be there all day...

Plug changes are a pain in the ass, but there are many cars out there that are worse to do plugs on. Once you change them once, you will know a few more tricks that make the job easier. Besides the changing the plugs, intake manifold oil leaks (easy fix), and optis that are prone to fail (mine lasted 130,000 miles though), they aren't bad.

Depending on the headers on the engine. There are hardly any cars that are worse for plug changes.
