burnout gone wrong! lol

I don't understand the redneck obsession with burnout contests. And also, not to sound like a party pooper but someone could have really been hurt there. Mainly one of the small kids standing 10' away.
 
i'll do big burnouts in a junker but not a nice car. those people were pretty damn close for a burnout contest, good thing the shredded tire hit the car and didnt fly off to the side
 
did ya see how fast that chevy tore that rubber up ? it takes the stangs like 5 min. to do that same thing !!!! :banghead: lmfao ------------ j/k mustang fans settle down ! lol
 
I don't understand why you need water to do a burnout?

Also, Did you ever wonder what happens to FIXAFLAT when it's put in a tire and you do a burnout? See video. (not sure it was fixaflat, but it will explode when heated)

You're probably right about the fixaflat stuff. That makes a lot of sense.

This thread brings back memories of an old autoshop teacher at Rochester High (i went there for 6 months but a lot of my friends had him too). Mr Hildebrandt. Whenever someone would do a burnout in the parkinglot he would say "Is that.. Why waste goood ruuubber?"
It became a catch phrase when we were kids :lol:
 
i had a 85 cutlass supreme with a v6 and it couldnt brake torque on wet asphalt. it got going good once i pulled on the crosswalk stripe
