Bumper covers - can this be repaired? Is it worth it?

I got a MC SS bumper cover yesterday which I don't think it's fixable (or if it was, not cost effective) especially since it's missing most of the mounting flange, but I don't know what can be done with 80s plastic. Is this fixable or should I keep looking? A member here offered me one at a decent price, but that one has a chip on a top edge which I thought wouldn't be fixable either. Would that one be an easier repair or have issues later on?

Crack on the corner at the molding line (runs left to right, about 2" long and all the way through, underneath the left large scuff mark of the pair of them in the middle):

Cosmetic holes/gouges can be fixed with some urethane filler. Painters Supply has all kinds of stuff for that. But when you start talking about mounting flanges, that's probably asking too much of the repair stuff. Google is your friend, but even after you read up, ask yourself if you trust the repair to spend a few hundred $$ on prep and paint after your done repairing it. Money saved now might be pissed away when it breaks after paint and your at square 1 again..
 
3M sells a urethane repair kit. I did use it on a bumper cover and it lasted however it was not on a stress point. If you do it take a file and make a valley and use a good amount of the epoxy. Also coat the underside as well.
 
Thanks guys. I think I"m going to keep looking, I'm hoping to find something in Chicago when I'm there next month before I look at the one with the gouge on the edge.
 
So I have another lead on a brand new one. Only problem is that it's aftermarket and at least 10 years old, but it's CAPA certified. Does anyone have experience with CAPA certified aftermarket parts? Would a fixed used OEM piece be a better choice than an aftermarket one?
