Rarely hurts them if you know how to do it. I usually use a piece of 4x4 wood to put between the core support and the sling and it rarely does any damage.

Yeah but they're $10k without the frame stiffening and air bags, installation etc. By the time i'd be done putting one on my truck i'd have $15k worth of wheel lift on a $6k truck lol.

Put em in neutral.. the wheels that are off the ground spin, get the vehicle out of the area and call a flatbed. We have wheel dollies but its just easier to get a flatbed rather than to haul the dollies around everywhere.
