Bubba the dog - help needed.

At this point their is a huge range of heights and weights that are pit bulls. Just because he is not breed standard doesn't mean he isn't a full or true APBT. Just probably a product of back yard breeders who don't breed for the standard.

iron cross kennels says that also and they are producing 100+lb pitbull muts because they look cool. i love pits but hate what people are doing to this great breed. those dogs are way overbread and most no longer look anything like the breed standard. i hope someone finds a home for the dog in this thread. id take him but i live in an apt that does not allow dogs

I totally agree there are a ton of overbred and cross breed dogs being passed off as pit bulls. Part of what is causing so many problems with temperment and every other problem the breed is seeing. Not to mention the hippo dogs the are producing (at least now they are calling those american bullys)

I'm hoping someone can give him a home. I'm trying to find a rescue that has a spot open, but haven't had luck yet.

I also need to know how he came about having this dog, because the people I have contacted want to know.
