Breaking in new exhaust

how could that not melt the pistons? are they made of diamond?

reminds me of the Top Gear video when he tested a viper and the carpet caught fire.
 
That was running a little hot. I wonder if it was lean or normal? Maybe they were loading it with the engine dyno to keep it hot. I know those cars have the hot sills when you get in and out. That would show exactly why! Wow.
