brake pedal removal fox

Is there any short cut or a easy way to remove the brake pedal or pedal assy on a 92 fox. Like just dropping the steering instead of removing it.
Maybe a good guide.

I dont think I removed the Column whe I removed my assembly, there was a couple brackets that you can bend out of the way then bend back when you reinstall. I swapped a 5 spd assembly to the automatic one. I do not remember pulling the column though. Hope that helps lol. Pull the seat and that helps to be able to get in there alot easier..
