bought a P71 crown vic ...

I've owned both the P71 & non CVPI. They are not the same cars under
the skin. Post-2003 They don't even have the same frame.

There are tons of drive train differences as well.

As a matter of fact, even the skin isn't the same. The P71 has the
roof reinforced and some have the ballistic doors.

My one non-CVPI....

My '02 Waterford K9 car.. so it had low miles. The best thing I did to the car was put a center console from a 2002 Explorer in it. Almost like it was made for the car.

Just did an oil change, air filter, tire rotation on the 2005 p71 I bought for my mother-n-law. Took it for a rip and still a fun car. I am not sure if I will get one of these or spring for the TT Taurus Interceptor

The Vic will be cheaper to repair, but the Taurus will be a lot more fun! Choices, choices lol

Well as of 7:30 tonight I don't have to worry about my son getting into trouble with it
Got hit by some idiot having a seizure

So sorry to hear about the car wreck – but great to
hear your wife & son are ok.

If you’re gonna have to be hit by someone, at least
let it be in a CVPI!

The good news is you can easily get a nice replacement
CVPI. The auctions are low on units right now, but in a
week or two they will be plentiful again. PM if you need
more info.
