Was bored at work so I snapped a photo of the indoor snow maker. Machine was throwing plastic everywhere. Hard to get a decent photo with my cell phone
I can't even have my cell phone on me at work. Only allowed to use them in the break rooms/cafiteria. And techniclly if it has a camera (what phone don't anymore) it isn't allowed in the building.
Its some kind of mold for an airplane. We don't really do anything classified at my shop so no weird rules like that. Took the picture on my lunch break
It's a pretty big machine though that part is 120 inches or so. Was running a roughing program with a 2" cutter. I hate that the machine isn't enclosed though seemed like no matter where I stood or moved the controller it was hitting me in the face or raining down on my head.
Damn, thats crazy. And my job isn't so much a "classified" deal. Just manufacturing parts for Toyota and Ford mostly. They just don't want the cat out of the bag for a car thats not in production yet I geuss.
Yea we do a lot of work for Ford,Chrysler and GM but mostly progressive dies. No class A body panel stuff I doubt anyone would even know what they where looking at if I took a photo of the parts that come off the dies we make. I don't even know what it is 95% of the time just by looking at it.
Yea ours lines primarily consist of shifter assemblies and steering wheels. Not really a big deal in my eyes but the company is very strict on the policy. To the point of if you are caught with a camera phone on the floor you are let go on the spot.
