Ya, I have seen it a few days ago. To be honest, after running an 11.5 in my car stock, I am not surprised with his run. Ranger is a much better driver than me and he is right at sea level. I don't think that time is too out of the ordinary for the Z06 given the circumstances.

Yup. That run was on ET streets, which hook even better than dr's. Nonetheless, it was a great run.

these runs were on radials Fadi, the jury is still out on what really hooks better on 17's
 
That run was on MT ET streets guys. Not a regualr drag radial like a BFG. He states this in the thread when he posted his video.

MT makes two different tires that are called ET Streets - Radials and the regular bias-ply tire. The bias-ply is a traditional slick tire with some water channels to make it DOT approved. It seems that he has the radial tire.

I've had the bias-ply tires on my car for the last several years and just switched to the radial ET Street. I haven't been able to put too many miles on them, but my limited drive time on them told me that the old, bias-ply tire hooked much better than these radials. Once the car comes out in the spring, I will give them another try and see if I can get them to work on my car.

Four different C6Zs ran under 11.30. I hope each will post their stories over the weekend. The other screen names include waynet, Weapons Grade Torque, and Phantasm.

Another C6Z driver met the Chevy spec for the car bone stock on stock tires on his third pass ever in the car.

My best was 11.10 127.94 1.78 bone stock on drag radials. The DA at the time was 700 feet. And I plan for two or three passes at MIR Saturday or Sunday. Will post a recap on Monday.
