bonding fiberglass to metal

looking to bond a fiberglass cowl to a metal hood. what would be the best way besides rivets. would like to make it look clean. thanks
 
You want an adhesive that is designed for this. Make sure that the surface of the fiberglass is scuffed up and wiped clean with some thinner.

When you bond the parts together, make sure that you have squeeze-out all around the perimeter of the joint and that you leave some space between the hood and the fiberglass. If you smash all the adhesive out the bond height won't be right and it won't hold.
