blue nose pit in need of a home

11month puppy has all of her shots and has been fixed. I don't want to get rid of her but she is not getting along with my father's dog and it isn't working out. She's house broken and very loveable. She never leaves my side when we are together. She had parvo when she was a puppy but survived. Approx 70lbs at most. NEVER shown aggression to me or neighbors or they're kids. It's simply not working out with the other dog, I'd like her to go to a good home not worried about money. But if you did want to give me some money I don't care. I have a cage I'll sell you if you like. She is crate trained but only goes in the crate when I go to work. Has custom made collar with her name. Her name is nova. Any questions or anything you can pm me or text/call 8106237199 Jeremy

She really is. I'm trying to get the dogs reintroduced so that they'll get along and I don't have to get rid of her. But I'm not having any luck yet

Good idea I'll try that. My last choice is to give away my puppy. I've been through a lot with this puppy and don't wanna see her go but I cannot let her kill my father's dog and then she think that type of behavior is acceptable

I cannot stress enough that my dog is not violent. My fathers dog is being an asshole jack Russel thinking its a badass and thinks this is her house. If I could afford a trainer I'd have one here now, if anybody knows a trainer that is much cheaper than 600$ and up please feel free to let me know

It's not a trainer that you need if your dog is not showing aggression that means your dad's dog is protecting her space. Take them to a mutual spot and see how it goes

The sad fact is that most the people that breed these dog don't have a clue only attach names like blue nose, red nose and so on only for the purpose of selling there dogs and have no clue about their bloodlines. I like to call them backyard breeders

Keep working with the dogs on getting along. I had a mutt & a husky that I thought were going to kill each other at one point. I kept intervening and discouraging any aggressive behavior. It took a while but they finally found a common ground and became best friends. Dogs are pack animals and it sounds like those 2 are still figuring out who is the alpha of the house.

You should keep her. I agree on trying in a unfarmilure place. A pile of dog treats could help too.

Treats will not help. Rewarding bad behavior and having the dogs become food protective towards each other will only make things worse.
But yes, take them both to somewhere not near the house on leashes..your dad with his dog and you with yours. walk them near each other but not close enough to attack. Try putting up a gate in the house to where they can be near each other but not get to each other. Take away any toys in the house so that they don't have things to become protective over.

This dogs gotta go just watched her throw my dad's dog around like a rag doll after sitting there not showing any aggression. If somebody wants her contact me. But you know the issues with the dog. I'm looking for a place to take her now.

Try to contact a place called fur baby they may be able to take her. If at all you can help it dont send her to the pound

It could be my dogs sibling, they look almost identical and yours is a month older. I would take it if I could but unfortunately I can't. :(
I will tell you the dog needs to get worn out each and every day until things change. It has too much negative energy and needs to expel it now. Once it does you'll see a night and day difference in the dog as well as a good bond between you and her.

I hope you can try to keep her for the weekend and put a little time into working with her. In the end the hardest ones to work with usually pay off the best and have the best bonds with their people.
