Black Lab Puppy???

Maybe I should clarify, lol. I am looking for a pure breed black lab. I don't think I will be able to find a pup that is pure breed at a shelter. I guess I am going to check some of the local sporting goods shops for postings. I plan on training it to be a hunting dog.

Shop around, people turn them in all the time. Shelters also get 'accidental' puppies as well

yeah...my mom refuses to go with a breeder also. She loves rescue dogs which make great pets for sure. She spends a TONS of time training them (she is retired) and they still are just crazy...haha...

I had a Black/english/giant lab mutt and he was the best dog I ever had. Really personable and easy going. Dammit was he a chewer though.

I have had several "labs" and I prefer English labs personally. (blocker head and better personality) Pics of my pup...
My Mom has american labs (field) and they are HYPER to say the least.

I've got a litter of lab retrivers growing up next door right now, (My Golden got a little friendly with the neighbors lab) about 5 weeks old right now 5 yellow, 5 black, 9 boys, 1 girl. Pm me if you would like details.

Slideways AKC golden knocked up the neighbors AKC black lab, 10 pups should be ready soon 5 black, 5 gold, 9 boys, 1 female is spoken for. Black ones are very calm, like the labs, gold ones are hyper like Aspen, Slideways dog. They would be great dogs to have, parents are both awesome. $100 a pop is also more than fair.
