Bikes at Milan

What he said. Read the restrictions on their site. Tether, full leather, snell helmet, front and rear brakes. Sometimes they allow no rear brakes, no tether and just leather jacket and boots but better safe than sorry.
 
I didn't think so. A guy at work with an r1 said he would go to the Milan but doesn't want to make his bike"totally not street legal". I told him he was nuts, but he swears it is true. Genius.

He is confusing road racing with drag racing. No specific mods needed, its a good to have the chain guard on the bike though.
On an R1 that should MPH in the 140's, he will need full leathers, gauntlet style gloves, helmet and boots.
He won't need a kill tether either.

At milan; tethers are required. Although, rarely enforced depending on the day you go.

+1 I have raced a R1 at Milan with all that stuff on it before. I had jeans, textile jacket, gloves, and boots. I have raced a handful of other bikes there too.

Took my ZX14 last year they made sure I had full leathers boots a teather chain guard.Messed up part is wife teched her zx10r behind me they didn't check any thing just signed off.

That's cause they knew she was a good rider but they were worried about you.....
