Bike owners

My CBR was 300 a year. My VROD is 500 a year. I think the Vrod is more because its number 6 of 50 made with its paint?

i bought a gsxr600 in aug of '06 3 weeks after back surg. wouldn't change it plus their cheap to insure $540 year full cover

Those dont seem like bad rates for insurance. I am only 21 though. Few last questions for you guys. What is high mileage for a bike? I see some with around 14k on them and others with half that or less. Also, what are some typical questions you ask when buying a bike? Obviously about maintenance as far as oil changes, brakes, tires, has it ever been dropped, and....?

The GSXR bikes have tuning options where you can cut some of the power down if you're worried about getting a bike that's too powerful. If you get a liter bike for your first you need to be the type of person with a lot of self control. Also you have to take into consideration with the power of a liter bike, you won't learn how to really control the bike nearly as fast. Riders who start out on a 600cc will generally be better riders than those who tried starting out on 1000. It would be wise to maintain a healthy amount of fear because a new rider sitting on a liter could find death around the corner in the wrong hands.

on the gsxr1000 i was riding this past summer it has an option so you can kill power on it. a,b and c option. supposed to be like a 600, 750 and then 1000 mode. it actually does kill power and is a cool feature i think. that bike was badass all around. if i buy a new bike this will be my choice without a doubt.
