I need to take a moment to throw a thanks out to Nick and Eric at Victory Racing Engines. They spent a lot of personal time helping me finish up my car only to have their efforts thwarted by oversights on my part. It's been a tough run and she's fought us 90% of the way but they have gone above and beyond the call since day one and I think things like that should be recognized. Hope everyone had a good time at Norwalk! Hopefully see you at the next one!

Eric

Sorry you couldn't make it. I know you guys have been working hard on the car, but your in the home stretch now. It's time to play. :)

We're singing a bit of the new car blues right now, not the first team to do it and certainly won't be the last.

I just looked back at this and can see how it looks, since I've gotten a few PM's about it being hurt.

The car is fine, we just had a few minor leaks to track down and some fittings that required changing that we couldn't get in time to make norwalk.

Yep, the normal stuff that comes with getting ready to go racing with the new combo.

Shoot I've been stopped by simple maintenance stuff this year hahaha. My favorite so far was a dead driver side window motor that I found after I had the car on the trailer at 10pm before a trip to St Thomas hahaha. :) The bad thing about the window motor was I know where it was made. They almost didn't get paychecks that week hahaha. :D

ALignments are always good ones too Rick. So many people rush the car and then are ready to hit the track at 8pm on a Friday night and no alignment shop to help them.

The weather looks like crap this week, so I think we are sidelined until the weekend.

The nice thing is that we found over 100rwhp with the same size engine over last years head and cam combo that went 11.30's. Not sure what she'll do, but we're optomistic.
