Bicycle Ride

Glad to see you back to logging some miles! Do you plan to hit 2,000 miles before the end of the year? I keep checking out your update pics and try to figure out where you rode to. I grew up in Milan and my parents still live there so I'm always checking out the changes in the town over the years. I need to take my bike up there and just tour around. It's not the same when you drive thru town.

I'm pretty good at "tweaking" my photos, so it can be hard to tell where they were shot at.

Hey, let me know when you head up here with your bike, maybe we can go for a ride.

I am determined to make my miles for the 4th year in a row. I might end up going
to Florida in December to do it if I have to!

Just as I was making great improvement from the bike accident,
this stupid COVID hit me & knocked me sideways!

I'm now home, still on oxygen, but getting better by the day!
Its going to be a "fun" & interesting journey, God is good!

I just purchased this commercial Biodex Semi recumbent cycle
to use at home to help train & condition.

First ride of the year! I got about 4 miles, then my butt said; "hey, wait, this isn't the Lazy-Boy recliner!" 😁

Back into the swing of things! I've been logging miles and bought a small fleet. A 2007 Gary Fisher HiFi, a $40 K2 Zed 4.6, a Cannondale Trail 6 29er, and I built a 2009 Stumpjumper 29er from a bare $50 frame and adding the rest of the parts from a cheap Diamondback Response (26er)... A few decent bikes for about a grand in case friends and family want to tag along on a trail..

Excellent work putting together a nice fleet on the cheap!

We'll have to go riding some time, if you can go slow enough
for an old man!
