Bicycle Ride

I wouldn’t make it to Adrian, that’s a long way! Which route did you take? I’d be afraid to ride on Ridge Highway or M-50.

For this ride I drove to the trail head in Tecumseh and rode to Adrian.
So no road riding! That means you *could* do this!

Let me get going for a bit, I haven’t ridden yet this year. That’s a possibility once my endurance is up.

Trail is 8 miles. So I simply rode it up & down twice
with a little extra. We could ride as few miles as you
like.

I also have an extra bike I'm setting up so you would
be able to use that one if you like as well.

Oh ok I thought it was 18ish miles each way based on the total for the day. A 16 mile round trip is still further than I’ve ridden in almost 2 years. How fast do you ride? Knobby tires on my hard tail definitely rob momentum. But I just looked at the trail and it seems mostly flat?

The trail has a gentle up slope going out, which means a nice
slope going down coming back!

The general rule is, whatever distance you can normally ride,
you can easily double that for a true ride.

I tend to cruise at a pretty slow speed. I'm trying to have fun
& enjoy the ride, not break any land speed records!

Sounds good. I’m going to bring my bike up from the basement this week and make sure it’s ready to go. After I get some miles on, I’d like to try that trail.

And you should be riding there!!! :1syellow1

My parents live in Dundee, not far from there. Both of my sisters live there too. I should take my bike down and ride that area with my nephews.

Nice video. What a cool machine. The ease of being on the beach alone was impressive.

My new (used) bike is almost done.
Just a few more little things to do / add
& shes ready to ride.

Funny thing is I'll probably still ride the old
one more! I have over 8,000 miles on the old
Trek bike. This one is a GT.
