I'll be looking for a used truck soon. I have 8k to spend so the truck will have high miles. What is the best truck? Cheapest and easiest to fix? I'll be looking at truck that are around 10 years old. Need help!!!!
Ok. Looking for full size truck, pefer 4 doors. An Avalanche would be fine, but I've seen a lot with major rust.

Didn't they have problems with rusted out brake and fuel lines in those years? As well as brake rotors.

Over priced IMO. Unless you absolutely need a open bed, 99-07 Burbs are the best bang for the buck out there. I was actively seeking a 2500 Burb/Yukon XL last year until I came across a 1500HD for a good price.Any thoughts on used Avalanches? I know they have the famous wheel speed sensor/hub replacement issue. Been looking at buying one instead of leasing another pickup. You can't argue the utility side - four full doors, but a full bed if you need it.

Brake line kits are dirt cheap, I bought every hard line and rubber line except for the hard line on the axle for under $250. I found all the GM On lines on Amazon and got free prime shipping... I also did trans cooler lines this way too.Didn't they have problems with rusted out brake and fuel lines in those years? As well as brake rotors.
