Best Ls1 intake & head combo?

I'm in a search for some aftermarket heads, intake, cam for an Ls1, i'm rather un educated in the ls1/f body department but i know there are several people on this board that are.

What's the best intake, i've been looking at the FAST 90mm, i've also been told that an ls6 intake is good.

Heads, TFS,AFR,DART? any other options? I would like an assembled set with springs, retainers and maybe some cnc porting for good flow.

Cam suggestions would be great too!

Also would a nice set of rockers do good? 1.7 or 1.8 ratio

Looking for a good cam for an automatic with a 3500 stahl, 3.42 gears

What's the best lca's to run and is it worth it to install a panhard bard, torque arm bar etc?

What spring should i run to lower the car from stock ride height?

Sorry for all the questions but this is all new to me

Please help me spend my money :rockwoot::spend:

stock rockers are the best unless you want to spend 1000+ on them. TFS requires aftermarket rockers< alot of people use harland sharps with PRC extreme springs.
I like the TEA ported TFS 215cc with a ls6 or fast.
Livernois also has some good heads and are a sponsor. You would have to ask them which cam works best with them but something in the 230's probably.
ported ET's, AFR, TFS, Livernois, ported TEA's are all good

this is VERY dependant on your overall goal, how much power? stock cubes? boost? spray? you would be surprised how much power a set of CNC ported ls2 heads can perform vs. those other options

once again, what are you goals?

new stockers or yella terra.

why a 3.42? just do a 3.73

I have, and always will be a big fan of BMR stuff. They are not the cheapest, or the most expensive. But when the day is done there parts are on the fastest f-bodies out there

well if you are doing a full suspension upgrade you will probably go w/ qa1 coil-overs in the front, and some eibach's in the back

stock rockers or the harland sharp modified stock rockers.
UMI and Bmr have nice suspension pieces

My goals would be a stock lower end with some nice bolt ons, just looking for a nice street car that could make a mid 11 sec pass at the track on motor no spray or boost.

Suspension- i just want to give the car a nice stance with a little hook at the track, don't wanna go tubular/coil over just yet.

Will 3.73's be streetable or highway driveable? I don't want to limit myself to track only, i want to be able to hop on the freeway with no worries

I drove my old heads/cam LT1 with 3.73's on the highway and got 23-24 mpg. As long as you're running stock trans you will be fine. Without an overdrive it's not fun with either one if you're sticking with 26" tires.

99% of auto guys use 3.73's even in daily drivers. Stick cars use 4.11.
11's will be easy with H/C in an auto

The trans is a 4l65e w/tci street fighter 3500 and it does have an overdrive,

I was also wondering about the shifter, are there any options? The stock one is easy to mis shift from 1st to drive?

I dunno I always stuck mine in D and hit it. The only time I would manually do anything is if I was running on street tires where I had to peddle first but then I'd just shift it to D as soon as I was hooked up in first. Otherwise it would shift 2nd while still spinning and then stop spinning, hook up and then downshift back to 1st. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize it's not ideal for low ETs. lol

-ls6 heads, maybe some minor port work. let me know i might be able to get you a set cheap
-fast 90/90 or if on budget ls6 intake does the job
-3:73 gear. i had one in my old camaro, cruised at 70 at around 2800 keeping good gas milaege.
-as for cam. i am clueless
should run a mid to low eleven if you can launch without spin or blowing 10 bolt
