Up here that would get you 7 days suspension 7 days impound and tow fees plus a $200.00 reinstatement fee and up to a $10,000 fine plus more suspension when you got to court :(

Then your cancelled by your ins co and rates probably double or more.

Fortunately here it was only a $130 fine. They way the officer wrote it once I paid it it shows up as an equipment violation, so it doesn't go on my driving record.

Sounds like you got off fairly. Ive seen a few people do some toasty burnouts and get a taillight inop or unsafe start.

The real question is, would you do it again??
