Be on the LookOut...............Matt's Car (91TUNK) was stolen Last nite.............

Can't believe it! I agree with others...it's fishy that one of the guards said to throw away the cut chain link.

Definitely a unique car. Hope it turns up unharmed. :(

holy fucking shit, Matt I am so sorry to hear this, I hope to god you get her back.
as everyone else says I will keep an eye out too.

JACKO

Sorry to hear of this Matt!, I'll point people on our message boards out west to this thread.
Please list a detailed brake down of the components you had in this build as it will help folks watch for parts getting listed for sale... if that happens.
Detailed pics of all areas of the car would help also in trying to uncover something that will stand out.

Man dude I'm sick in my gut for your loss... Jeff

Matt, I don't think anyone is saying "funny its for sale and now stolen" as in insurance fraud, but thieves are now using for sale ads to shop for cars they want to take... They can get a complete shopping list of whats inside and they KNOW where the car is located.....

Absolutly true

I'll let my L.E.O. friend (you know who) in your area to keep her eye out too.....

Why would you guys think the car would be in Detroit?
IMO It would be a bit risky trailering it 45 miles :dunno:

Hate to say it but the scum bags that did this are most likely smart enough to get that car far from here before they even consider parting it out or somthing. It doesn't seem like it will be any old tom dick and harry that live around here that figured they could rip it off. Most likely it's someone who stayed off the radar all along and did their research from a distance and somehow knew the exact time and location to pull this off. None the less it's a damn shame and I hate to be a dick but if the car doesn't surface in the next day or so, its a lost cause. Seems like people cant own anything worth a damn now days because theirs always someone who wants it for free. This thread has made me go out and move my mustang off the street where its been all week.

every car i have known to be ripped off and has made it back to the owner has been highly publicised and the thieves have dumped causer the heat was on, lets hope this will be the case.

it probaly got transferred to an enclosed trailer within 10 miles, matts open trailer will end up dumped somewhere

no one would think twice if this was done during the day tho.

i dono about that, think about it. If this theif or thieves were smart enough to pull this off, they had to know this is a VERY well known car throughout the area with many people who would recognize it being trailered around. Thus, I would bet they transferred it to a enclosed trailer to get it out of the area or some thief has it in their barn. I would have to bet they did not want to be driving around with that car on an open trailer for very long....seriously, think about it!

also, like Kim said... No ET attracts all kinds of scum bags that are only around to try to hustle big money. You think they dont follow a couple cars home afterwords to see if they can make them selves a nice chunk of easy money? I haven't been to No ET but i have a number of good buddies that haven't gone in a long time because of some of the wagers and people that it draws out. Where do you think these guys get the THOUSANDS of dollars in cash to make the big bets?? you think they are wagering hard earned money? come on now, its all dirty money, especially when the bets are thousands of dollars.
