Be honest - Thoughts on this car (Sorry not a mustang)

Its a 70 chevelle its already cool. Get it going and have some fun with it, slowly fix it up and drive it all the time.

Leave it roached and crusty looking and just clean it up and drive the shit out of it.

On a side note, whoever thought painting the frame yellow was a good idea was dead nuts wrong. lol

I dig it. That engine build is pretty old school with the camelbacks, but shit...buy it, make it road worthy, and drive the hell out of it.

thats was the look back in the day, need to put the lights in the wheel wells too

I'm in with the "Get it running and safe" crowd.
Don't obsess over the look of the car AT ALL. I wouldn't even worry about the rust. It is so far gone that you would be in for way more than the car is worth.
Find some Old School tires, put them on the rims you have, do all the fluids and brakes, get the engine running good, and rock that bitch!! Have some fun with it. Sorta like Farmtruck, but not as fast?

P.S. I would maybe rattle can the frame black so I wouldn't dry heave every time I looked at the car. Just sayin'.

Dude, I already told ya, BUY IT!!!
Very 1st statement in 1st post
"I am getting it this sometime in the next week or so. (NEED to borrow a Trailer to get it to Macomb from St. Clair Shores - 14 miles)"

Yeah about the only thing cosmetically I would "HAVE" to do is get rid of all the yellow. When I asked him about that he said the body was taken off and the frame was all sandblasted and painted yellow back in the day (Like 18-20 years ago) :stupid:

^Lol.
It's all good as long as you're ready to put A minimum $1000 into it to get it safe enough to drive, that is assuming you can do all the labour for free and have duct tape and silicone at the ready.

Its fixable but it won't be cheap. But on the other hand that is muscle car royalty there so you have to save it!!

That is about what I figured about a grand

My dream car, I wouldn't hesitate. Is the frame yellow? Reminds me of a John Deere :)
Yes, the frame is Yellow and so is under the hood. I am going to invest in some POR15 and go to town after a good bath.

Ahhhhhhhhh, you know what I am going to say....BUY IT! Bring it over to my place and we'll get it running. I have a trailer you can borrow....Want me to loan you some cash? :)
