Why did he keep hitting the starter while it was on fire, and how did he get out without catching on fire while carrying the gas can?
 
WTF! So much stupidity going on in one video.. The engine is still hanging from the cherry picker, there is no exhaust on the heads and he's using water to put out a gas fire.. I guess the best finish to this video would have been him losing his balls in the fire so there is no chance of him procreating.

he said someone told him if an engine catches on fire to crank it so it sucks the fire back inside...I guess they forgot to mention that only works on a carb fire.As far as him not catching in fire, he did. His arm was cooked pretty bad.

Engine fires are no joke man.
For the record, I just fired up my Turbo 6.0l and felt like what I just saw. But I had no fire, no gas can on the cowl either.

Hope the guy in the video isn't hurt too bad.
 
How did he have that much gas covering the whole car? That thing went up everywhere

he got burnt pretty bad. he has a donation fund to help pay for his burn clinic bill for his arm and leg
 
damn. Had a little fire on my dirt bike, it sure gets your heart racing. I was swapping out the carb and some fuel ran down the frame into the skid plate and when I hit the electric start, somehow it ignited.. I put it out with water too. LOL
 
Seemed like it took forever. My guess is that he has an electric fuel pump that overpowered the floats and it puked gas on the engine/floor. Then he had that half-assed sparking bump starter that ignited the whole thing.
 
He said the regulator was set to high and filled the carb. Lol said timing was off so it shot flames. Lol it did that cause it didnt have manifolds on it. It was almost out till he pulled the hose out of the can..
 
shitty! I had a carb backfire once on my CJ and start on fire under the hood. I didnt even know the start up trick to suck it back down. i ended up just dumping a water bottle all over the carb, which sucked because then i had to run back to my house from campus to grab my ratchet so i could pull my plugs and blow it out...
