how do you like that window in the shower?

lmk if any tiles fall from the ceiling ok?
 
yup did the cement board on ceiling too with a anti sag thinset for the slate

just to be safe I told the wife if you hear some cracking noise from the ceiling dont look up LOL


I guess I should add I only did the ceiling with slate in the shower area with the cemnet board

Looks good man, if you walked in there with some argyle socks and an argyle sweater, you might disappear. ;)
 
I used 1/2in backer board for shower and poured cement and graded it for the shower floor. The board comes in 3x5 sheets at lowes, the rest of the drywall is the yellow moisture resistant stuff.
 
Damn that is sweet. I want to redo my bathroom tile in the shower. I've done everything else, paint, lights, towel bar, mirror, faucet, just skipped the expensive part last year. :lol:

It can get very expensive and time consuming, I found my tile on clearance as it was a discontinued size for that color and it was about 2k for tile alone at half off. The installation is what killed me, I did most meyself excluding the heavy things that take two people and it took a couple months to finish it doing it after work and weekends. About 110ft of pipe for the shower alone.
