Tempered glass is fine with me. I see they have the 54" "Silverback" for a few hundred off. It's like $600. The 60" and 72" Goalrilla is out of my price range.

54c goalrilla is $999. $1059 out the door delivered and installed free with the $160 pole pad. I paid for it yesterday
No, not true. I used to work there. Each store got its own set of markdowns. I store transferred stuff all the time and got it at Taylor cheaper than what it sold for at Novi. The cheapest goalrilla is $999. The Goaliath are cheaper.
In store only. Not advertised
Not true. Dicks is a coporate store. All the same prices.
I personally visited Ann Arbor, canton and Taylor stores yesterday. All are exactly the same prices and promotions

That's awesome. I may do the same one. I'm still shocked about the install. They come dig the hole, drop some cement and the pole completely free?
I'll be checking out the prices at Dicks in Rochester Hills tonight and let everyone know.

Good for you. You're also trying to buy it in prime season. They'll mark them down at the end of the summer or fall. We can sit here and keep going in circles about this, but I'm telling you what I know after working there for four years. Every Wed. each department got a sheet of markdowns that had to be completed ASAP. The system updated at 12:01am to reflect the new prices. If the items were on hand at a store, they automatically adjusted the price to the store it was at in inventory.I went to novi today......... Same price.
Goalrilla's system isn't pole in ground.
Dig hole
Pour Crete
Assemble mounting pad
Has 4 3' long anchors. They push that down in the Crete.
Level and wait to dry.
Come back and bolt the square pole to the mounting pad
