maybe I'm numb to height of building since I've spent half my time in Chicago in the last few months, but the Ren Cen isn't even half the height of the 4th largest in the city of chicago. It seems like the instant you'd step off the edge you'd be pulling for the shute and pray it has enough time to deploy before you hit pavement.

I'm sure it was more about what the building is and the global icon etc etc than the height

They did not, you can see the main tower in the background of the video around 22-25 seconds ast hey crawl on to the roof from the access hatch thing.
