(all the snow you see flying is actually chewed up ice from us riding)

The Oval track with no snow on the ice was my first time out with Ice Screws on the lake... ever. After riding it all day a friend stopped by, so I let him take it around the track a few times.

The other video's is a friend and I riding. My G/F arrived after an hour (we were tired) but wanted some video footage. I'm surprised how much traction it got on the ice. I could pull the front tires up in gears 1-4, but with the oversized swingarm, I have to force it up in 5th and 6th. On the straight away we were hitting 6th gear(80-90mph), but the video doesn't show the speed. While we were putting around, you can tell when we got on the throttle.

Here is the second time we went out riding on the ice:

Thoughts?

I think the Ice riding is done for this year. Saturday, I went out to White lake to practice with the AMA guys for the circle track they have. I quickly learned I need to put a taller gear in my banshee so I didn't have to shift between 3 gears. The 4 strokes weren't shifting at all because they have that low end torque. I would pull away in the straights but they would catch up quickly in the corners.

TO DO FOR NEXT YEAR:
1. get Ice racing tires
2. lowering kit (4" front 4.5" rear)
3. Re-gear the bike so I don't have to shift as much
4. Get out on the ice Before the end of february.
