Baffle needed with AN fittings to catch can?

I am going to use a bolt-in bung like this:

and then use some AN fittings and hose to a catch can. (same catch can for both covers)

My question is, can I just install the bung with no baffle? I found a similar bolt-in bung that had a baffle, but for the life of me I cant find it again. :pissed:

I assume I DONT need a baffle because it will be a sealed system and no way oil will be able to find it way to the catch can in any significant quantity.

Is that right?

joe, i planned on using a similar arrangement on my motor, using an AN 12 bulk head fitting and then a AN 90 facing rearward into an Aerospace componets catch can on each side. i am curious to hear everyone's thoughts on the baffle deal,i bet it is even more important on a turbo or supercharged car.i don't want to use a weld on bung on my new polished sheet metal covers,so could i just bend up a three sided baffle with a hole in one side for the mounting bolt of the AN fitting to pass though?? thanks for your feedback.

joe, look at the morosso part no. 22635,41.99 at jegs, designed for use with vac.pumps it is a bolt in AN 12 male.i think that's the way i will go.

Henry you are a fuckin lifesaver!!!

I found that Moroso part a couple weeks ago but forgot to bookmark it, and I couldnt find it again for the life of me. I'm 100% going to use that moroso piece, as it is exactly what I need.
