yesterday I went and picked up a truck from a fellow member about 7ish , got home like 830ish , my wife noticed my male dog seemed to be a little more lazy than the norm , well about 11ish or so she went to go to the gas station and brought my male dog , well she noticed he didn't want to jump up in the car like normal , he yelped , got in the car thow , got home and couldn't make it up the 3 steps to get into my house I had to pick him up , me and my wife slept with him on the living room floor last night ( our dogs are like our kids , they sleep in the bed with us , we love our dogs ) me and my wife got like 1 hour sleep each , took him to the vet this morning because the closest 24hr vet was in fuckin Egypt someware , he messed up his back , not sure how bad yet but it could need surgery or worse , vet gave us 3 meds to give him , 2 of witch I took when I messed up my back at work , tramadol for pain , a type of flexeril and a anti inflamitory , so needless to say hes pretty messed up , have to hope and pray hes ok and hes got to go back to the vet in a week for rays and all that fun stuff ...... hes only 4 years old and hes a pitty so there pretty much bounce back from everything , vet said its the 1st time she seen a pitty with a back injury ............ shit sucks hes like my best friend and to see him pretty much helpless is hard to seepoo sick.jpg

When my dogs hips started to go they had her take Bufferin. Something about Bufferin is different than a typical aspirin so that dogs can take it to help with the pain.

something about inflammation , that's why hes on the anti inflamitory , said the inflammation causes the xrays to be hard to make out the actual cause of pain

Call around to local chiropractors, I know it sounds crazy but I know people that have taken dogs and had good results. Prayers sent!

thanks guys , he seems to be doing a lot better but im afraid it may be just the meds and hes doing more damage than good , time will tell , thanks again guys

That sucks bro my dog is a MAJOR pain in the ass but this lil guy is my company through the week while my girls on the weekend. I understand completely now about them bein a man's best friend. Hope all goes well for the pup man. Prayer sent

Keep having faith. Animals are not like people and tend to bounce back pretty well. just keep a good eye on him and good luck.

Hope he gets better, I've got two wiener dogs and one of them hurt his back jumping off the couch once, it was real hard seeing him in pain, but just keep an eye on him and help him out and he will heal

Had a dog that couldn't get up on his back legs, took him to Animal Neurology in Commerce Township, they specialize in cases like that.

he seems to be doing much better guys , I hope its just a fluke and he will bounce back without surgery , met another MM member today and my dog was there and you would swear there wasn't shit wrong with him lol , thanks again guys it means alot

UPDATE !!!
