Bad news if you own a RAM.

Latest kid on the block should be the safest when running into a brick wall in the middle of the road

Yeah I found out about the rams bad crash test rating when I was shopping. Ram was 70 more a month on insurance than silverado or f150

I was wondering what the rate difference is.

I work with a die hard RAM fan. We are all F150 owners here at work (for the most part) so it was fun to get him all upset.

Yeah and the ram is probably safer than any vehicle built five years ago. Nothing to see here.
Casting caution to the wind is your prerogative.
As for me, I'm going to learn from those selfless crash test dummies and not drive a Ram truck at 40 MPH into a brick wall.

Nobody in this area gives a shit about these ratings, they only care what the lease payment is.

Its hard justify the giant payment increase on the f150. I liked it better but not 100 a month better

Exactly.

Want to drive straight into a brick wall at 50 mph and not break both your legs? Get an f150 at 500+/month
Want to drive straight into a brick wall at 50mph and probably have both legs amputated? Get a Ram at 230/month

I hate when these walls jump out at you (specially with forward collision warnings on these vehicles now), at least other cars will absorb the impact. They should run the trucks thru a forest the trees stay in position
