Back to the Bricks Car Show Mid MI?

Been wanting to check it out as they have events during the week prior. Just haven't had the chance to get up there. Maybe this year I will make a day. But WW is where I will be on Sat!

Spring is on it's way and so is the 3rd Annual Back to the Bricks Promotional Tour!! This year it is the Heart of Michigan that begins Friday, June 15 – Friday, June 22, 2012. In addition, on Saturday, June 23 the Tour Participants will drive into the Sloan Museum Auto Fair.
ALL car enthusiasts are welcome to purchase a packet and join in on the tour at any time! We will have a tour sign up on Wednesday, April 25 from 9am-6pm at Duke's Car Stereo, 4081 Miller Road, Flint, Mi. Anyone already pre-registered can pick up their packet and anyone can sign up on the spot and take a packet with them. The price of a packet is only $35 and includes: an Agenda/Itinerary, a T-shirt, hat, 3x3 inch participant window cling, an 18x24 inch poster and TWO lanyards. The lanyards are important for the participants so they can get discounts, free items, and more along the tour.
This year's route will be touring the middle portion of the state with a couple of stops on the edge, so given the name “Heart of Michigan Promotional Tour”.

June 15, Friday: Leave Flint, end in Mt. Pleasant
June 16, Saturday: Leave Mt. Pleasant, end in Grayling
June 17, Sunday: Leave Grayling, end in Traverse City
June 18, Monday: Leave Traverse City, end in Cadillac
June 19, Tuesday: Leave Cadillac, end in Grand Rapids
June 20, Wednesday: Leave Grand Rapids, end in Sturgis
June 21, Thursday: Stay in Sturgis, night two
June 22, Friday: Leave Sturgis and end in Grand Blanc/Flint

We have great things lined up for this trip!! There will be 2–3 different events to do each day. Remember, this is an at will tour, so you can do as many or as little of the events along the tour that you would like. More information and applications can be obtained by going to www.backtothebricks.org, going to the schedule page and click on the tour or call 810-919-5078. Accommodations will be the participant's responsibility and are currently being wrapped up, so check the website.
Some things that we have lined up already are a pig roast, downtown car show, visiting a vintage diner, a very famous garden, cruising with some Veterans, open houses, tours, taking laps on a racetrack and open day for discounts at multiple museums, the list goes on!!
We will have a van for participants who need extra room for luggage. We will have a semi truck to be able to transport a broken down vehicle to a service station if the situation occurs and the semi is near and the loan of tools, if needed. Thank you to Baker College Center for Transportation Technology for taking care of these needs.

I wish I could do something fun like that. That's why I am building a second car for the streets. I doubt it will be done for that though. The truck is a 13:1 race gas engine, so I am limited to being around home. Looks like a blast though!
