Did the cruise last nite saw a ton of sweet rides. around 10pm we were passed by 20 plus police cruisers who were joined by probably 20 more then they proceeded to close off all the intersections and started screaming at everyone to get off the road? Anyone have any info on what happened? David James

When I was 16 I went to the woodward cruise... They threw me off woodward and I had NO clue how to get home (in a bad neighborhood too)... I stopped to ask a cop the best way to get to southfield freeway, and he told me he was going to "beat the fuck out of my smart ass if I didn't get going"

Yup sounds like what port Huron does now. Port Huron has a lot of stuff it could have going for it buy they just about ruin everything they can. Cruise night is a bust now, and they damn near ruined boat night to. This down even pissed off a local millionaire investeter/donator of the city, mr. Acheson. That guy has done nothing but try to proto this town and get a lil more people/companies to come and spend some money or invest in this dying town. Well they pissed him off and now he dont give a shit anymore cause they spit in his face so much.
 
Police officers get a little upset the week before woodward and I could understand why, the cruise is on Saturday people not every night the week prior

People cruise all summer long. The cops have no business being upset with anyone. They are getting over time pay to do nothing more than cause trouble. Guess what - we can cruise just fine without cops..

Obviously not if it takes 40 minutes to drive 5 miles down Woodward the week before, not everyone wants to work over time - some people have families and a personal life.

I refuse to cruise Woodward during the summer, Woodward = rich kids that are hand fed, driving a car that Mommy/Daddy bought them so they could commute to and from U of M :lol:

They may be public servants but just because a bunch of idiots want to drive up and down a road for hours on end a week before the actual cruise is ridiculous, and with that being said I would be handing out tickets left & right
 
There were 20 people fighting at the trans shop by mcdonalds. Cops got pissed and were apperantly shutting it down a little early.
 
All this and it's only Wednesday. I left the B2B around 9:30, maybe they were fighting over my parking space.
 
This cruise was scheduled for last nite in Flint. It was a planned event, im sure they were frustrated with having to deal with it, but the cruisers and the townies watching everyone drive by were doing nothing wrong. I did see roving gangs of angry youths that paid zero attention to the cars acting like tough guys. Pull your damn pants up already ! That is who the police should have been addressing....
 
The type of fuckheads that come out to act tuff and like you said show no interest in the cars are the one who screw it up for everyone else. When I see this type of stuff down there it really gets me pissed, that and people being dicks.

Thats maybe 5% of what is out this week. Lots of BUILT not bought cars out there. I was out Tues & last evening. Parked and watched the cars go by. Everyone was in a good mood and well behaved. I dont go on saturday anymore because you barely see any cars driving, so you have to walk miles to see all the cool stuff.

Maybe get the sand out of your vagina? lol J/K!

Plus the R.O. cops I saw walking around were sometimes checking out cars and not harassing anyone. They looked like they were checking more for people drinking than anything. We hung out till about 9:30.
 
According to the B2B website the Back to the Bricks cruise was supposed to end at 10 last night, tonight it will end at 9 PM due to the high turnout & the idiots who can't behave.
 
Are you kidding about them booting people at 9?
EDIT: Just read this on mlive. Well can't say I didnt see this coming.

I don't see how anyone can say you can't drive up and down a public road as much as you want? Does'nt the gas tax pay for road repairs? The more fuel burned the more $ for the road coffers :dontknow:
