Autorama Pics - Took While I Was There Setting Up!

Cool shots. This was the first year I was able to see the setup, so much planning! It was cool to be able to walk around Wed/Thurs and see it this way :D

Pretty intresting HUH...Now be there Sunday after 8pm and watch it all leave.

That looks awesome. I'd much rather go to something like this than the Detroit or Chicago Auto Show.

Chicago's autorama was last week. They give a big award that draws some bad ass cars too. The winner of that award is usually in Detroit sitting there witht he Chicago trophy by it.

WCC is showing off the Varsity Ford Cobra Jet this year. They are using it to promote Highschool/College drags.

Damn, 5.5 hour drive to get there. Oh wait they have one on March in Chicago. Are they pretty much the same at all of the locations?

No, there's maybe a handful of cars that go around from show to show cause they compete in the points series that the ISCA has. Otherwise, all the cars are different.

Ah, I see. Well, I might just have to post some of those pictures up if I go to the Chicago one then.

I remember seeing that sliver Impala Dragster in a Summit magazine. That thing is nasty.

So how does this show work? You guy s have to pay to be in it or what?

It was $50 last year. Packet comes with 2 passes for the weekend.. The nice part of being in the show is walking around before and after the show is open.. No crowds and you can pretty much see what every you want.
