Lots of great cars this year! Here is Part 1 of the cars exiting the Cobo at the Autorama. There are a few humorous moments in this one, along with plenty of badass cars.

Stay tuned for the next couple vids!

That black hurst olds with the huge wheels brought a tear to my eye. I can't believe someone would wreck a nice cutlass like that.
Thanks for the video!

Glad I didn't go. I didn't see but maybe two or three cars in that video that looked like they belonged at Detroit's biggest car show.
And the whole "rev it up, light em up" mentality, those idiots need to get smacked upside their heads. A good friend of mine got seriously hurt from someone messing around a few years back.

Thanks for the video, any of those cars belong to members here by any chance?

the 69 camaro that is the "thumbnail" for the vid before you hit play is a member. tony lasky. and the last car in the video is the huron speed trans am. superman09 owns it and slideways on here painted it, and was driving it in the video.

Would be interested in which 2 or 3 three cars those wpuld be and how you would make that call with a 7 second clip of each car driving by? There were alot of beautiful cars there this year as always, I do agree there were some cars we saw there that didnt really belong but didnt see too many of those featured in the video.

For me, I judge a car by the craftsmanship and execution of work done. Its hard for me to judge cars in the video without seeing them up close and personal. Sure, some of them aren't my cup of tea, but that doesnt mean the work done wasn't extraordinary.

the ridler winner was a perfect example of that IMO. I must have looked at that car 20 times over the weekend. and every time I looked at it I started to like it just a little bit more. at first glance I actually called it ugly. but when you really stand there and stare at it, that car is NUTS.

My point exactly. I saw pics of it, and it is definitely not my thing. BUT.....the execution was absolutely amazing. Gotta make yourself look past what you don't like sometimes to appreciate what you do like.

Truth. I think it's also important to remember that most of the highly customized cars are trailored out of the building, not driven out. There were lots of breathtaking cars this year. The car that won the riddler award was outrageous, but I loved it!

^^^That Riviera was so badass! Thank you for posting that link.

Here is the last segment of the cars pulling out. This one has a couple of C7 Corvettes and the COPO Camaro.
