autometer tach install need help

im puting a autometer tach in my 1995 ford mustang gt 5.0 and wondered what color wire is the tach wire on the coil or were you sugest to hook it up to thanks for the help....

thanks for the help just to clarify is that the tan wire on the plug that plugs into the coil seperate from the distributor

yah i have the directions also thanks but i dont have the old coil like that that tells you the - sign on it i have the square one with the metal around it and its seperate from the distributor

yes, tan at the coil, though it does connect to the distributor

thanks i was just trying to clarify that on the stang the coil is not on top of the cap its seperate thanks for the help....
