Auto X'ers who's ready or has plans for this season

haha would love to see that thing race around on some Hoosier A6's just a skipping and a bumping around

Well just finished installing my longtubes, steeda comp springs, a/c removal and a new clutch cable, can't wait for the season

I actually raised it up today and got an alignment finally (thanks Ryan). The toe is nearly zeroed out now, but the bump steer is worse than ever. This car is a pain in my ass. I want my E30 back.

Ran some events in the '80's in the Houston Region. It's a great way to learn what you and your car can do and chew up a set of tires!!
Don't worry about what class you wind up in!! It's hard for the "competetive" guys to go anywhere and see themselves at the bottom of the time sheets. An experienced X'r will outrun you no matter WHAT you show up in!! Then he will turn around and give you all kind of driving and set-up tips.
I'm planning on taking my 16 year old to an event or 2 as soon as I have the car running...

Autocross in general can be one of thee most hardcore competitive things ever, but then the friendliest the next

Anyone from here go to the CCM event this last weekend? I had a friend there with his Mazda 2 "lady bug" , seemed like a tight small course. I was a little suprised since it was made for corvette's

Well finally went and tested all of my parts I installed over the winter.

Initial reaction, the Torsen seems to lock up faster for traction which can help it rotate kind of nice, The 5 link bar def needs to be raised by the feeling of push out of the corner when i'm trying to throttle, and make sure you hear the click or snap when installing sensors back... (5 th run DNF, crank position sensor came unclipped)

All and all not only was I dusting the cob webs off from the long break, I felt like I was expecting more, and was over driving the car the entire day. It didnt help the kumho's didnt even get any relative heat, but oh well still got an ESP win and pax'd 47th out of 106. If I would have actually kept one run composed I would have easily been able to drop a second or more, but I guess thats what happenes when you antzy to race and have to wait till last heat of the day.

Best of day

looking forward to the silverdome this sunday!

There should be one at US131 this sunday too. Its a VW event but test/tune and autox are open to all makes. It was last year anyways. Check it out.

The ones at the palace and the dome rule. 2 minute laps!

Well went to the DRSCCA Event and got 4th out of 10 in ESP and 39th Overall in PAX out of I think 160?

Adjusted some setting with the panhard bar and it doesn't push as much now, which of course is good for my driving style. I took the NWOR driving school with these setting on my street tires and it feels exactly how I want it too! on R Comps it should be great!

ESP is def a competitive class in Detroit. In ohio it barely has a turn out and I guess not as hardcore as the Michigan people are about it

got a pretty sweet pic from it also
