Auto trans on 351W?

Might be putting a auto on my 351W instead of a T-5 for now. For the sake of $$$.

ANything different that needs to be done? Trans is from a 89LX.

your going to need a 28oz. flexplate....and i would go with a slight stall converter but its not necessary...other than that you just need the t.v cable for the line pressure and the kickdown cable...if you need these let me know. i think i have a couple of them laying around...other than that you dont really need anything

and I'll need the 28oz, harmonic balancer. Any body have a harmonic balancer or flexplate lying around?

A stall converter is in the future plans!

your best bet is to buy a new flywheel...you can get a tci peice for around 65 bucks...and the damper.....id spend the extra money and get a good one....romac has a good one and so does tci
