Auto Rama 2012

You are funny Jim, I like you. I think I kicked in $70, not sure if that was enough tho!

Thanks for the drinks and badass mini tacos Matt!

Ps. Thanks for the Millers, Matt Reese cup flurry and driving my sorry ass around 2!

LOL, so we paid $250 of the $272 tab? Awesome!

Went this morning, saw Rickles from Livernois, but didnt didn't get a chance to BS cuz he was mid-conversation. Saw a bunch of cars a recognized, but no one near them to put a name/face to the car. Oh well, Just means I've got to make it to more of the meets this year.

As long as they fall on an free day I'm always willing to find something to do. Just the off days are hard to come by. I had to haul ass back home after autorama to get to work tonight.

I just got home, and have to admit I was disappointed with the show overall. While their were some beautiful vehicles, there were a lot of average cars. Some I don't believe were Autorama quality.

The 99-04 Grand Am that was upstairs, or a few of the "dragsters" in the middle of the floor... I saw cooler stuff downstairs than I did upstairs.

The battleship gray/blue Impala with the brushed billet trim was BADASS! Honestly was one of my favorites of the whole show. That guy must of have a deal on billet because it was everywhere (tastefully)

BTW - didn't Justin have a booth? I looked for it and never saw it.

I totally spaced off grabbing a coupon from the Summit booth. I was waiting for Autorama to get that to place an order. Anyone grab an extra one and mind PMing me the code from it?

What engine was in that one rat rod, the thing had tWo spark plugs per cycliner and I couldn't figure out what is was. Any ideas?

Kevin Byrd did an amazing job building that m3. I have seen pics of various stages of the build when I worked at O'Reilly in Clawson. He was one of my customers and a couple of little things are sourced from me if I remember right.

I believe that is an old fire engine motor. My dad & uncle were telling me that's what it was when I asked.
