Auto Rama 2012

Getting the car finished up tonight and on the trailer tommrow, Have alot of detailing to do yet. Will be down there all weekend. Hope to see some of you guys down there.

You know what kills me about the autorama is the fact that I KNOW ive seen more then one car in there two yrs in a row, ive seen a few hacked or not show worthy cars.Then my buddy applied to enter his mini truck (i know, not my thing either) but either way its seriously the cleanest nicest and well put together minit truck ive ever seen and they denied him.
 
I'll be trolling around Sunday morning. Me and dad plan to get there soon as doors open. Camo snap-on hat and a gray motown "skyline" shirt. If ya see me don't be afraid to say hi! Can't wait to see some of your guys' cars! 4 years in a row for me. :-)

My buddy and I are planning on going Sunday.. Ive heard they do like a cruise line after the show when the cars are pulling out ? is that public ?

It's not really a cruise, Alot of guys just opt to drive their cars out of the show to their trailers as opposed to bringing the truck and trailer into cobo to load them up. saves alot of time.

It's all political. There are some real turds in there every year. I've seen a couple cars in there year after year that don't belong downstairs.

I got such a horrible headache from the fumes a couple years ago had to pull over and puke. It's cool, but the exhaust fumes get bad.
 
Yeah, Sunday can be a bit of a cluster fuck and the fumes can get bad in there. I'm hoping we can drive all of the cars in our display out to the trailers but we will see.

I always stay after on sunday. Best time of the show. Especially since I havent been able to smell burnt race fuel, or have heard a really nice engine fire up for months now. Not sure what I'm going to do this year though since I normally go to a big Daytona 500 party on Sunday afternoon. Have to figure out a comprimise somehow.
